Vicki D. (Davis) Young
Vicki D. (Davis) Young, age 63, of Lincoln, died Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015 at Lincoln.
She was born Feb. 14, 1951 to Paul E. and Ruth (Query) Davis at Jacksonville, N.C. Vicki was retired, but previously worked as a training coordinator for dental software. She enjoyed being creative, whether it was crafting or gardening. She also loved her dog Max.
Vicki is survived by her son Grant (Allison) Young of Lincoln; two sisters, Sharon (David) Misenko of Buffalo, Mo. and Paula (Rocky) Surface of Hilliard, Ohio; nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2015 at Metz Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, York. Memorials may be directed to York Adopt-A-Pet.
Visitation begins after 5 p.m. Monday evening and her family will greet friends Tuesday evening from 7 - 8:30 p.m. at the mortuary.
