Vicki Lynn Staehr of Stromsburg (Orlando) was taken to her heavenly home on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Stromsburg. She was born on September 22nd, 1946 to Weslyn and Marguerite (Clithero) Klone in Denver, CO. Vicki graduated from York High School and then Lincoln School of Commerce. August 28th, 1965, she was united in marriage to Douglas Staehr at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in York, NE.
Vicki is survived by her children: Wendi (Donnie) Jasper of Stromsburg, Curt (Yennie) Staehr of Stromsburg (Indonesia), and Blake Staehr of Orlando, FL, grandchildren: Austyn (Stephanie) Svehla and their children Rhett and Finley of Raymond, NE, Brittnye Svehla of Omaha, NE, Sgt. Trevor (Maria) Staehr and their son Aiden of Kaneohe, Hawaii, and Jared Staehr of Orlando, FL, Hosea of Indonesia, brother Gary (Amber) Klone of Harker Heights, Texas, nephew Branden (Terri) Klone of Clinton, Iowa, and nieces Dalonne (Troy) Grubaugh of Altus, OK and Cassandra Klone of Tipton, Iowa. Jasper Grandchildren include: Dillon (Nicole) Jasper and their children Carter and Jaxson, Dustin (Kristine) Jasper and children Cayden and Atalie, Abbie Zoubek, and children Paytin, Karsin and Bowin, Macie (Nathan) Zahourek and children Makenzie, Kaylie and Mason.
Vicki enjoyed 4-H in high school as well as being a member of many clubs. Vicki loved her family, and the two foster daughters, Amy and Stephanie, her and Douglas took care of. In 2012 Vicki moved to Orlando, Fl. She loved lying in the sun, spending time with family and her little dogs.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 am, Monday, November 29, 2021 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Burial will follow in Vernon Cemetery, southeast of York. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1-8pm at the mortuary with family greeting friends from 2-4 that afternoon. Memorials may be directed to the family for Alzheimer’s research.
