Vern Regier, age 68 passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021 at St Francis Hospital in Grand Island, NE.
He was born May 27, 1952 in Henderson, NE to Ruben Regier and Agnes Goertzen Regier. He attended school in Henderson and then went to Central Community College in Hastings, NE for auto mechanics. He then married Deb Williams of Grand Island, NE and were united in marriage on August 27, 1976. They then established their home on the family farm in Henderson.
Vern loved to farm and do woodworking. He loved to go camping and had a great camping family with so many great memories to cherish. Vern loved working with older cars and going to car shows and races.
He is survived by his wife Deb of Henderson, his children Jason (Michelle) Regier and their children Hayden and Jarrett of Lincoln, NE. James (Sarah) Regier and their children Owen and Olivia of Lincoln, Jeremy Regier of Lincoln, Michelle (Erick) Brekke and their children Klarie and Kara of York. Other survivors include his brother Lester (Dee) Regier of Marquette, NE and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Sharon Wiles.
A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at the Faith Evangelical Bible Church in Henderson with the Reverend Robert Stretch officiating. Vern has been cremated so there will be no viewing or visitation. Private family inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to his family for later designation.
