Steve Foreman

Steven Mark Foreman, age 60, of York, died Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2015 in York.

He was born on Jan. 5, 1955 in York to Mark and Elizabeth “Betty” (Jensen) Foreman. Steve graduated from York High School in 1973. He was united in marriage to Claudia Lorang on May 5, 1979. Four children were born to the union. Steve worked at Nebraska Public Power District for 20 years.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and telling stories from the past. He will be remembered for his love for his children, service to others, kind heart, grand storytelling and his overall love for the outdoors.

He is survived by his children, Mark (Rachelle) Foreman of Unadilla, Trinity (Carley) Foreman of Waco, Stephanie (Nathan) Faught of Huntsville, Ala. and Jessica (Tyler) Hellbusch of Columbus; sister, Debra (James) Foreman-Dodds of Omaha and many grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents; several uncles and his mother-in-law, Norma Pauly.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, Aug. 17, 2015 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in York. Private family inurnment will be at a later date. The family will greet friends from 4-6 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
