Ruth Virginia Brown
Ruth C. V. Brown, age 69 of Pacer County, CA died February 3, 1991 in California. She was born August 12, 1921 in San Francisco, CA, to James and Evelyn (McGlynn) Brown, who immigrated from Ireland. Ruth was an only child and she attended Polytechnic High School in 1936. On June 30, 1942 Ruth was united in marriage to Peter Simonetti in Carson City, Nevada. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and daughter Barbara Simonetti.
Ruth came to Blue Valley Community Action in York, Nebraska, November of 2019. Extensive investigations were conducted to find any relative who lived in the area. The researchers came up empty handed. Continued investigations did reveal a few precious family details and incredibly, a priceless photograph of this beautiful lady.
She will be laid to rest at 11:30 a.m., Monday, November 2, 2020, at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, York, 19 years since she went to her eternal reward. Ruth is surrounded by her adopted family and friends who have joined together today to pay their last respects, on this her final chapter. Ruth has not been forgotten; she is not alone. She will live forever in our hearts. It's been quite a journey Ruth, thanks for letting us share in your life. Someday, when we all meet you face to face in heaven, we'll look forward to you filling in the details of your story.
