Paul S. Waller
Paul S. Waller, age 94, of York, died Sunday, April 27, 2014 at York. He was born on January 18, 1920 in St. Francis, MO. He served in the US Fifth Army during WWII in North Africa and Italy. He was married to Bonnie Woods at Carthage, MO May 24, 1947. They moved to York, Nebraska January, 1949. He was a member of York First Methodist Church, York Lodge #56 AF&AM Masonic Lodge, Sesostris Shrine, Lincoln, NE and VFW. He served on the York District School Board.
He is survived by a daughter Robin (Mike) Abrams, Los Altos, CA, a son, Rex (Denise) Waller, Omaha, two granddaughters Sarah and Libby Abrams, two grandsons Matthew and Jonathan Waller, one brother Leonard (Jake) Waller, Wichita, KS. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, two brothers and one sister.
Services will be Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Metz Mortuary with internment at Greenwood Cemetery. Graveside services provided by York Lodge #56 AF&AM. No viewing or visitation. Memorials directed to the Shrine Crippled Children hospital or the family.
