Norma Esther Barney 89, York, formerly of Bradshaw, died Friday, July 20, 2007, at York. She was born in rural Fairmont.
Survivors: husband, Allen; children Ann (Clinton) Philson, McCool Junction, Carol (Dallas) Fenster, Holdrege, Norman (Carol) Barney, Olathe, Kan., Bob (Joyce) Barney, Council Bluffs, Iowa; 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services: 10 a.m., Monday, July 23, 2007, Metz Chapel, York. Burial: following service, Greenwood Cemetery, York. Visitation: beginning at 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary; 7 - 8:30 p.m. family will greet friends. Memorials: York General Hearthstone, American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
