Noel Delyn Vice Jr.
Noel Delyn Vice Jr, age 64 of York, NE died Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at his home surrounded by his children. He was born in Omaha, NE to Noel Delyn and Yvonne (Earnest) Vice Sr. Delyn grew up in Davenport, IA before moving to York in 1984.
Delyn enjoyed the outdoors and golfing with friends and family. For years he ran his own drywall business in the York area and enjoyed his time working as a bartender. Delyn took pride in his Harley Davidson and enjoyed spending time in Sturgis. He enjoyed the Dart and Pool Leagues around town and watching sports and old westerns. He always had a joke or witty comment about everything. He lived life to the fullest, especially on his own terms. He loved dancing with all the ladies, a cold beer and a cigarette. Through the good and the bad, Delyn always found a way to smile and laugh. His unique and contagious laugh will be missed by all.
He is survived by his children, Gavin (Michelle) Vice and Jesse (Janelle) Vice both of York, Dillon Vice of Lincoln, NE, Kristy Vice of Davenport, IA and Jocelyn McCall of Huntington Beach, eleven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Also surviving are his sisters Ruthie (Drew) Anderson of Papillion, NE, Valarie (John) Munn and Cindy Vice both of York, and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother David, nephew Ronnie Fersch Jr and his step-mother Vera.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 am, Tuesday September 27th, 2022 at Arbor Drive Church in York. Interment will be held at Greenwood Cemetery, York. Visitation will be on Monday from 1-8 pm with family greeting friends from 6-7:30 at Metz Mortuary.
A Celebration of Life lunch (without ham sandwiches -cuz pops said so) will be held at the York Elks Club.
Memorials may be directed to his family for later designation.
