Mildred Tietmeyer
Mildred I. Tietmeyer, age 94 of York, NE died Saturday, May 22, 2021 at York. She was born July 23, 1926 in Flagler, CO to Edward and Anna (Beckman) Leseberg. On October 21, 1945, Mildred was united in marriage to Albert Tietmeyer in York.
Mildred was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in York, where she was part of the Stephen Ministry. She was always caring for others, including visiting people in the hospital. She enjoyed reading, playing cards (canasta and pitch) and Scrabble, and gardening and canning. Most of all she loved her family and spending time with them.
She is survived by her children: Larry (Karen) Tietmeyer of Lakeview, AR, Karen Kelly of Alliance, NE, and Alan (Barbara) Tietmeyer of Bull Shoals, AR; 8 grandchildren and their spouses, 8 great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, and sister-in-law Jean Tietmeyer of Greeley, CO.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, infant brother, two sisters, and son-in-law Dan.
Graveside services are scheduled for 10:30 am, Friday, May 28, 2021 at Greenwood Cemetery, York. Cremation. No viewing or visitation. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
