Michael Bourke

Michael E. Bourke, age 58 of York, NE, died Thursday, November 15, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born September 25, 1960 in York to Maurice P. and Naomi June (Gilbert) Bourke.  Mike owned Data Tech Computer Services. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in York. He was also a member of the Eagle’s Club, the York Country Club, and the NRA. Mike loved technology, enjoyed having family and friends over to his pinball/arcade game room, and family trips to Disneyland.

Mike is survived by his wife Susan Johnson-Meade of York, daughter Jessica Bourke and her significant other Cody Eschenweck of York, stepsons Justin (Allyson) Meade of Leawood, KS and Michael (Brandi) Meade of Lincoln, NE, stepdaughter Nichole Meade and significant other Shane Maeder of Lincoln, and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his special friend Brad Friedli.

A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 10:00 am, Monday, November 19, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, York. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Grafton, NE.  A Rosary will be said one hour prior to the Mass at the church. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1-8pm at the mortuary. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation
