Marilyn J. Monroe, age 71, of York, died Monday, March 24, 2014 in Grand Island, NE. She was born September 3, 1942 in Denison, IA to Lloyd and Wilma (Burmeister) Hulsebus. On December 4, 1970 she was united in marriage to Joseph I. Monroe at Imperial, NE. She is survived by her husband Joseph and daughter Katharine of York.
Marilyn has been cremated and private family services will be held at a later date.
