Lois E. Norquest
Lois E. Norquest, age 85 of McCool Junction, died Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2016 at Henderson.
She was born Aug. 15, 1931 to Harry and Edith (Lonsdale) Holoch at rural McCool Junction. On Feb. 3, 1952, Lois was united in marriage to Ted Norquest at First Evangelical Lutheran, McCool. Lois was a farm wife, taught Sunday school, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Ted of McCool; son, Robert (Brenda) Norquest of McCool; daughter, Denise (Wayne) Gruber of Waco; grandchildren, Emily (Ross) Athey of Seward, Luke Norquest of Clay Center, Zach (Danielle) Gruber of Waco and Clint Gruber of Waco and great-grandchildren, Jack Jensen and Archer Athey of Seward.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, 2016 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, McCool Junction with the Reverend James Sells officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, York.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 1 – 8 p.m., with family greeting friends that evening from 6 -7:30 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the family.
