Leona B. Apetz 80, York, widow of Delbert Apetz, died Saturday, October 20, 2007, at York from a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. She worked at 1st National Bank in York for over 30 years.
Survivors: sons, David, Gretna, Jerry,York; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Frankie Barnett, Enid Okla., Opal Roth, Visalia, Calif.; brothers, Alvin, Lee, both of York; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Services: 10 a.m., Tuesday, October 23, 2007, Emmanuel Lutheran Church, York. Burial: York's Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation: beginning after 2 p.m. Monday with the family greeting friends and neighbors 7:30 - 8:30 p.m. Monday at the mortuary. Memorials: Alzheimer's research or donor's favorite charity.
