Kathleen "Kathy" Lundquist
Kathleen “Kathy” Lundquist, age 66 of Stromsburg, NE, died Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Stromsburg. She was born October 21, 1954 at Kearney, NE to Earl E. and Helen E. (Novotne) English. On March 8, 1996 she was married to Richard C. Lundquist at York. She and her husband were the owners of K&R Trucking. She was a member of the York Eagle’s Club and loved to bake, make crafts, scrapbooking and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughters; Heather (Brian) Haug of Stromsburg and Cassey English of York. Grandchildren include Austin Lundquist, Zach Haug and Sam Haug. She is also survived by her sisters, Chris Ewing of York and Doylene (Bob Keech) Christian of Lincoln, and her brother Brad (Sarah) English of Gretna.
Several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and her brother Kevin English.
Memorial services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at the Metz Chapel in York. Inurnment will be in York’s Greenwood Cemetery. It was Kathy’s wish to be cremated so there will be no viewing or visitation. Memorials may be directed to her family for later designation.
