Judy Wiemer
Judy Kay Wiemer, age 63 of York, NE died Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at her home in York. She was born January 25, 1958 in York to Robert and Lois (Light) Renquist. On December 6, 1974 she was married to Jerry Wiemer at York. Judy was a longtime member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in York, loved crossword puzzles, scratch tickets, watching old tv programs and her cat Zebon. She had a zest for life that always included her husband, children and grandchildren. She always put others first before herself.
She is survived by her husband Jerry of York, her children, Michael Wiemer of Geneva, NE, Jeremiah Wiemer of York, Amanda (Dustin) Sauer of Portland, OR and Nicholas (Laura) Wiemer of Utica, NE. Her grandchildren include, Hadley Wiemer, Teagan Cool, Skylar Cool, Avery Wiemer, Lynn Jurgensmeier, Madilynn Wiemer and Grant Hinze. Also surviving is her sister Sue Stuhr and her mother Lois Wiemer both of York and of course her cat Zebon.
She was preceded in death by her father, her daughter Angela, step-father Gary Wiemer, brothers Ron and Tom Renquist.
Memorial services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at the Metz Chapel in York with the Reverend Mike Neidow officiating. Private family inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to her family for later designation. Judy will be cremated so there will be no viewing or visitation.
