Jeff Etherton, age 56, of Grand Junction, Iowa passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2016 in Scranton, Iowa.
Surviving are his wife, Deborah of Grand Junction, Iowa; children, Sara Etherton of Grand Junction, Michael Ochsner of Lincoln and Charles Ochsner of Maxwell; father, “Junior” Lue Etherton of York; brother, Michael Etherton of York; sister, Vickie (Ivan) Keller of York; five grandchildren, Caden Etherton, Caleb Ochsner, Elijah Ochsner, Jeremy Ochsner and Jamie Ochsner; nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home in Jefferson, Iowa. Friends may call at Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home after 1 p.m. Monday April 25, 2016 and the family will greet friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Monday at Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home in Jefferson.
Funeral services will then be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Metz Mortuary in York. Interment will be in York’s Greenwood Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
