Inez Heinrichs
Inez I. Heinrichs, age 81 of Henderson, died Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016 at Henderson.
She was born Nov. 12, 1935 in Sutton to Jacob and Bertha (Ollenberger) Nachtigal. Inez was a longtime member of the Bethesda Mennonite Church in Henderson, and a member of Mission Circle. She loved gardening, making crafts and following her grandchildren to their sporting events. She was an avid reader and painter, she loved going to coffee with her sisters and friends. On Aug. 20, 1960 she was married to Delbert Heinrichs in Henderson.
She is survived by her daughter, Debra (Randy) Wilhelm and her son, Joel (Connie) Heinrichs all of Henderson. Her grandchildren include, Nicholas (Taylor) Heinrichs of Henderson, Katie Wilhelm of Omaha, Jordan Heinrichs and Rhianna Wilhelm both of Henderson and great-grandson Dawson Wild of Henderson. She is also survived by her brother, Hank Nachtigal of Aurora; sisters, Doris Classen of Holdrege and Kathy (Dave) Clayton of Lushton. Also surviving is her sister-in-law, Joan Nachtigal of Aurora and a brother-in-law, Elvis “Short” (Nancy) Heinrichs of Lincoln. Nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; her brother, Willis Nachtigal; brother-in-law, Jerry Classen and a sister-in-law, Janis Nachtigal.
Graveside services will be held at 1:15 p.m. Monday, Dec. 12, 2016 at the Bethesda Cemetery in Henderson to be followed by a Memorial service at the Bethesda Mennonite Church at 2 p.m. with the Reverend Jim Voth officiating. Visitation will run between the hours of 2-9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10 and between 1-9 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 11 at the Metz Chapel in Henderson. Her family will greet friends from 7-9 p.m. Saturday evening. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
