David Glenn Prince, age 61, of Waco, NE, died Monday, July 22, 2019 at Waco. He was born May 31, 1958 in St. Paul, Nebraska to Donald G. and Dorothy (Reynolds) Prince. Dave was the head purchaser at Champion Homes in York. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trapping, and was known for his skills with taxidermy. Dave loved his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed sitting around the fire, and was known as a guy who would lend the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it.
He is survived by his wife Denise Colling of Waco, daughters Whitney (Branden) Hoffman of York, Danielle (Jeff) Berry of Wymore, and Heather Colling of Omaha. He is also survived by his sister Deb Siebrass, and brother Doug Prince both of York. His grandchildren include Gavin, Haylie, Landon, Kerrianne, Hannah, Trinity, Jennifer, and Caitlyn. Several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. He was loved by many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 27, 2019 at the Metz Chapel, York. No viewing or visitation as it was Dave’s wish to be cremated. Memorials may be directed to his family for later designation.
