Danny Lee Foster, age 68, of Gresham, NE, died Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at York. He was born February 22, 1953 in Lincoln, NE to Floyd and JoAnn (Murphy) Foster. Danny was a graduate of Lincoln High School, and went on to serve his country in the Marine Corp in Vietnam. On April 28, 2018 he was united in marriage to Kathy Schild in Hastings, NE.
Danny was a member of Hillside Evangelical Free Church in Seward. He worked as a Repo Agent and Bounty Hunter. Danny enjoyed PlayStation Game Simulator, spending time with his family BBQing and fishing.
Danny is survived by his wife Kathy of Gresham, daughters Kassidy Foster of Gresham, Melissa (Bill) Pooler of Lincoln, and Dalynna Robertson and her fiance Robert Boyd of Oakdale, NE, son Daniel (Nate) Ebers of Cambridge, NE, step-son Chad (Carla) King of York, step-daughter Lexi Hansen of Ralston, NE. He is also survived by his brother George Foster of Lincoln, sisters Mary Foster of Hamilton, Missouri, and Christy (Jerry) Davis of Roseland, NE, along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers Mike and John.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Hillside Evangelical Free Church in Seward, NE with the Reverend Brad Johnson officiating. Closed casket visitation is scheduled from 1:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 5, 2021 at the mortuary in York. Interment with military honors will follow at in York’s Greenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Bikers Against Child Abuse.
