Chad Weldon
Chad Everet Weldon, age 45, of York, NE, died Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at York. He was born August 18, 1973 to Ann Lundquist and Arthur Weldon at York. Chad was a 1992 graduate of York High School. He had worked at Applebee’s in York, Hunter’s Lounge in Waco, Champion Home Builders in York. He also worked as a bartender at Offsides Tavern in York, and finally as a forklift driver for Klute Inc in Bradshaw. On April 9, 2003, Chad was united in marriage to Heather Johnson in Sturgis, SD. He enjoyed playing golf and bowling and was a Raiders and Husker football fan.
He is survived by his wife Heather of York, mother Ann Morgan of York, father Art Weldon of Ozark, MO, sister Terry Weldon of Ozark, MO, brother Miles Morgan of York, nephews Zack Hyde, Isaiah Hyde, and Jacob Morales, and niece Taytum Morgan. He is also survived by aunt and uncle Amy and Gerald Huschka of Garden City, KS, uncle Jack Weldon of York, aunt Linda Kramer of Branson, MO, father-in-law Harvey Johnson of Grand Island, an abundance of cousins, good friends, and his dog Spike.
He was preceded in death by his step mother Nancy Weldon, mother-in-law Helen Johnson, grandparents Richard and Esther Lundquist and Arthur and Norma Weldon, and Uncle Richard “Dick” Lundquist.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, April 15, 2019 at the First United Methodist Church in York with the Reverend Art Phillips officiating. Private inurnment. Cremation. No viewing or visitation. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
