Bonnie A. Stiers
Bonnie A. Stiers, age 73, of York, died Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017 at York.
She was born Jan. 29, 1944 at Geneva to Earl and Ann (Sluka) Jacox. On June 14, 1963 she was married to William Stiers at Geneva.
Bonnie loved spending time with her family attending all of their events and playing the piano whenever she could. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Bill of York and her daughter, Julie (Jeff) White of McCool Jct. Also surviving is her granddaughter, Conor White of McCool Jct.; two step-granddaughters, Tacia White of Lincoln and Brett and Nicole (White) Eimermann of York and their four sons, Colt, Crue, Cash and Jax along with many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017 at the Metz Chapel in York with the Reverend Ralph Gaines officiating. Burial will be in York’s Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will from 1 - 8 p.m., Tuesday with her family greeting family and friends from 6:30 - 8 p.m. that same evening at the mortuary. Memorials may be directed to the American Lung Association of Nebraska or to the family for later designation.
