Blanche Clymer
Blanche Clymer, age 84 of York, NE died Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at York. She was born on April 22, 1936 to George and Blanche (Farmer) Sughrue at Lushton, NE. On June 1, 1957, she was united in marriage to Walter L. Clymer in York.
Blanche was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Altar Society. She enjoyed scrapbooking, playing cards and pool, and most of all, spending time with all of her family.
She is survived by her husband Walt of York, children: Mike Clymer of Aurora, NE, Ken (Gloria) Clymer of Yuma, AZ, Steve (Pam) Clymer of Weeping Water, NE, Corey (Maggie) Clymer of Azle, TX, Jerilyn Wilkinson of Syracuse, NE, and Julie (Roger) Smid of Lincoln, NE, 17 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters Kathleen Neugebauer of Lincoln, NE and Rose Wilkinson of Stillwater, OK. She is preceded in death by her parents, son Greg, brother George, sisters Patricia and Mary, and infant brother Lawrence.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, April 26, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in York with the Reverend Father John Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in York. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1-8 pm and a rosary will be said at 6pm that evening, all at the mortuary. Family will greet friends from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m., Sunday before the rosary. In lieu of flowers and plants, memorials may be directed towards St. Joseph School Endowment Fund.
