Bernice Fuehrer
Bernice Marie Fuehrer, age 53 of Grafton, NE, died Saturday, November 3, 2012 at her home surrounded by family. She was born October 9, 1959 to Al and Johanna (Hill) Scholine in Des Moines, IA. In November of 1990, she was married to Ervin Fuehrer in Geneva, NE. Together they operated Grafton Service in Grafton. Bernice was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Grafton and enjoyed bowling and working on her home. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and treasured her time with her family.
She is survived by her husband Ervin of Grafton; five daughters: Mary (Trent) Hill of Friona, TX, Mindy (Brandon) Barney of Lincoln, NE, Amy Van Eaton of York, NE, Marcia Fuehrer of Hastings, NE, and Janelle Fuehrer of Lincoln, NE; seven grandchildren; and two sisters Carol Gerbing of Waycross, GA and Karen Fleming of Des Moines, IA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Karen, brothers Patrick and Timothy, and her sister Judy Marnin.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 8, 2012 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Grafton with the Reverend Steve Kruschel officiating. Burial will be in the Grafton Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior to funeral services at the church.
