Arthur Regier
Arthur Regier, age 92, of Henderson, died Monday, Aug. 31, 2015 at Henderson.
He was born Oct. 28, 1922 near Henderson to C. C. and Anna (Penner) Regier. Art and Mary Ann Ediger were united in marriage on March 24, 1950 at Henderson. The union was blessed with two children, Steve and Deb. Art farmed in the Hampton area and knew the value of hard work and strong faith. He was a member of Mennonite Brethren Church. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include his son, Steve Regier from Sandy, Utah; daughter, Deb Shepherd of Hampton; grandchildren, Jade (Andrew) Gordon of Fruitland, Utah, Jayson (Christina) Shepherd of York and Kerrie (Branden) Bonk of Las Vegas, Nev.; great-grandchildren, Mina, Destiny, Atley, Jordyn and McKenzye Shepherd of York; other family members and friends. Preceding him in death were his wife; two grandsons; one son-in-law; one sister and four brothers.
Art has been cremated with no viewing or visitation. Memorial services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2015 at the Metz Chapel in York. Private family inurnment. A luncheon will follow the memorial service at the Leisure Home in York. Memorials may be directed to the family.
