Albertina "Tina" Youngquist

Albertina M. “Tina” Youngquist, age 85 of Sun City, AZ, died Thursday, October 7, 2004 at York. She was born April 8, 1919 in Pearland, TX and was adopted by Charles C. and Margaret A. (Petersen) Cornelius. Tina was married to Norman Youngquist at Holdrege, NE on June 8, 1941. She was a graduate of UNK and was a longtime school teacher in Lexington, NE. After her retirement, she moved to Arizona in 1976 and belonged to the First Presbyterian Church of Sun City. She is survived by her 2 daughters; Pamela (Charles) Turner of Geneva and Beth (Mike) Lucas of York; 8 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her husband, parents and several brothers and sisters.

Memorial services will be held on Sunday, October 10th at 2:00 pm at Metz Mortuary in York. Additional memorial services and inurnment will be at the First Presbyterian Church in Sun City, AZ. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Nebraska.
