Dorothy Woodard

Dorothy F. Woodard, age 92 of York, NE, died Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at York. She was born on July 22, 1915 at Gresham, NE to Christian and Edith (Robson) Farley. She graduated from Benedict Public School in 1932. On November 22, 1941 she was married to William (Bill) Woodard at Grand Island, NE. They resided in York.

Dorothy is survived by one niece, Donna (Gene) Gonnerman of York, and three nephews, Darrell Bolton of Benedict, Allen (Dorothy) Farley of Waco, and Ronald Farley of York. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, a brother, Floyd Farley, sisters, Viola Bolton and Edna Schultze, a nephew, Maurice Bolton and a niece, Shirley Brigham.

Graveside services were held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, June 16, 2008 at the Greenwood Cemetery in York, NE with Leroy Hoyer officiating. Memorials may be directed to Adopt-A-Pet in York.
