Alice Wiseman

Alice A. Wiseman age 77 of York, NE died Tuesday, November 08, 2005 at Kearney. She was born May 18, 1928 at Bradish, NE to Adolph and Julia M. (Zach) Thomas. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in York, the Altar Society and the Women’s Choir as well. On November 10, 1949 Alice was married to Glen Wiseman at Columbus, NE. She is survived by her sons, Donald and his wife Kathy Wiseman of Kearney and Pierre and his wife Carol Wiseman of Fayetteville, NC; two daughters, Judy and her husband Ray Snyder of Salt Lake City, UT and Patty and her husband John Hanson of Loa, UT.; nineteen grandchildren and thirty-five great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Henry Thomas from North Dakota and Donald and his wife Vivian Thomas of Tekamah, NE.; one sister, Eileen and her husband Ronald Sarnacki of Richardson, TX.; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Sherry Parker, three brothers, Leonard, Wilferd and Gerhard, three sisters Virginia Galus, Dorothy Galus and Kathryn Darwin and two grandsons Larry Parker and Stuart Wendt.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Friday, November 11, 2005 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in York with Father Leo Seiker officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. A Rosary service will be held prior to the funeral service on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the church. Memorials may be directed to St Joseph’s Catholic School in York. Viewing begins after 5:00 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary.
