Sheryl Wilson

Sheryl C. Wilson, age 72, of Columbus, NE, died Thursday, October 16, 2008 in Columbus. She was born November 25, 1935 in York, NE to Homer C. and Marcella (Surface) Lovell. Mrs. Wilson graduated from York High School in 1954 and attended Texas Women’s University in Denton, TX and York College in York, NE. She married Robert Wilson on February 24, 1957. She and her family were members of the East Avenue United Methodist Church in York prior to leaving the York area. She served one year as Coordinator for the York Mental Health Clinic in 1965.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Wilson of Columbus; two daughters, Melissa Schultz of Columbus and Amanda Enquist of Palmer, NE; one son, Shawn Wilson of Lincoln, NE; four grandchildren and one sister, Sondra Young of Plainview, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Benjamin Lovell.

A private graveside service has been scheduled. Memorials may be directed to the family.
