Theo White
Theo P (Campbell) White age 86 years and 7 months of McCool Jct., NE died peacefully at her daughter LaMoine's home at 7:00 PM Sunday, September 4th 2011 with the love, compassion and support of Aseracare Hospice and RN Jami Anson.
Theo (Campbell) White was born February 4, 1925 in Zwolle Louisiana to Harrison & Lilly Pearl (Young) Campbell. Theo met her husband John B White of McCool Jct. NE while John was serving in the US Army at Fort Polk in Louisiana. They married in August of 1942 in Zwolle, Louisiana. They returned to McCool Jct. And John & Theo celebrated their 63 wedding anniversary before his death in 2006. Theo loved her family and especially little children. She was a wonderful grandmother and her greatest joy was time spent with her four grandchildren Ryan, Amber, Mandy, Ginger and her two great grandchildren, Hayden & Erin Roth. She also loved nature, animals, the pine forests and the swamps of her beloved childhood home in Louisiana.
She is survived by her son Johnny and wife Alice White of Bakersfield, CA. Granddaughters Mandy (Henry) Kaiser of Manhattan, NY, Ginger and her fiancé Pat Carson of Buellton CA, daughter LaMoine and husband Bob of York, grandson Ryan and wife Liana Roth of Scottsdale AZ, great grandson & granddaughter, Hayden & Erin Roth of Scottsdale AZ, granddaughter Amber Roth of Fayetteville AR. Her sister and brother in law Max & Thelma Biegert of Paradise Valley, AZ and sister in law Inetta Campbell of Zwolle, LA, a special niece Rebecca (Biegert) Conti and husband Vincent of Flagstaff AZ. Many nieces, nephews and friends including Tammy Swantek family. And her loyal and beloved dog “Baby”.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John B., one sister, May Anderson, five brothers, SL, Cleveland, Robert, Thayer & Barney Campbell.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10 AM Saturday September 10th at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in McCool Jct, where she attended church for over 67 years. A rosary service was at 7:00 p.m. Friday at Metz Chapel in York. Interment was at St. Joseph's Cemetery east of York. Memorials may be made to York Adopt a Pet.
