Gordon Wemhoff Jr.

Gordon R. Wemhoff, Jr., age 34 of Lincoln, NE, died Friday, March 12, 2010 at his home in Lincoln. He was born January 22, 1976 at York, NE to Gordon Sr. and Joyce (Sutton) Wemhoff. He was a 1994 graduate of Columbus High School, Columbus, NE. Gordon enjoyed spending time with his children, family, and friends. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting and loved to BBQ.

Survivors include his children, Ashley Wemhoff of Waterville, KS and Trevor Forky of Holiday Island, AR; father, Gordon (Donna) Wemhoff Sr. of York; siblings, Keith (Timma) Dodson of Modesto, CA, Tracy (Jane) Dodson of Columbus, NE, Hope Joy of Casselberry, FL, and Shelly (Tony) Nutter of Malcolm, NE. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Preceding Gordon in death were his grandparents, mother Joyce Wemhoff, and sister, Cheryl Dodson Osborne.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, March 18, 2010 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in York with Father Mark Tasler officiating. A Rosary was said Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Metz Mortuary. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m., Thursday at the Burchard Cemetery, Burchard, NE. Memorials may be directed to St. Joseph’s Masses or Center Pointe Place in Lincoln, NE.
