Roger Weber
Roger L. Weber age 81 of York, NE died Thursday, May 3, 2007 at York. He was born on a farm in the Henderson, NE area on January 19, 1926 to John and Frieda (Kaiser) Weber. He attended country schools and graduated from Bradshaw High School in 1943. He married Deloris M. Watt on January 21, 1945 and to this union two sons were born, Bruce L. Weber and Greg A. Weber. Roger was a York County farmer and cattle feeder, having retired in 1980. He was a real estate salesperson working for his wife in her business known as D. Weber Realtor, Inc. He was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in York, York Rotary Club and the Nebraska Touchdown Club.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Deloris of York; two sons Bruce and his wife Lynn of Lincoln, NE, and Greg and his wife Susan of Bradshaw.
Also surviving are two former daughter in laws; Linda Weber of Lincoln and Cindy Weber of York.
Five grandchildren John Weber and his wife Mackenzie of Phoenix, AZ, Maggie and her husband Joel Troester of York, Megan Weber of Lincoln, Tara and her husband Mark Kawar of Washington DC and Jessica and her husband Sean Burns of Providence, RI; five step grandchildren, Kai and her husband Maurice Joshua, Rayne Robertson, Ricky Robertson, Haley and her husband Gabe Fox and Jeff Bartlett and his wife Heidi; 4 great-grandchildren, Hailey, Maxx and Libbie Troester and Jameson Burns; one sister Oneida Brummett of Wilbur, NE and sister-in-law Darlene Watt of York.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his parents-in-law Guy and Marie Watt; brothers-in-law Dewain Watt and Roy Brummett.
Memorial services were held May 7, 2007 at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in York.
