Harold Watt

Harold A. Watt, age 97 of Bradshaw, NE died Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at York, NE. He was born May 15, 1913 in rural York County to Isaac Wesley and Cora B. (Prohaska) Watt. Harold was a graduate of York High School and was a lifelong farmer in the Bradshaw area, known for his custom corn shelling operation. Harold served on the Bradshaw School Board, Volunteer Fire Department, and Village Board. On April 5, 1938, he was united in marriage to Dorothy F. Gray in Grand Island, NE.

Survivors include three daughters: Priscilla (Dean) Moyer of Estes Park, CO, Barbara (Steve) Rasmussen of Grafton, NE, and France (Bruce) Blanchard of Omaha, NE; son James (Susan) Watt of Bradshaw; eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, three sisters, and one brother.

Memorial services were held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 4, 2010 at the Bradshaw United Methodist Church in Bradshaw, NE with Mary Scott officiating. Private inurnment at Council Cemetery, York. Memorials may be given to Bradshaw United Methodist Church.
