Chester Watt

Chester L. Watt, age 86 of York, died Tuesday, January 11, 2005 at York. He was born September 22, 1918, southwest of York to Wesley and Cora (Prohaska) Watt. Chet was a 1936 graduate of York High School and an Army veteran of WWII. On September 8, 1951 he was married to Elsie Faustman at York and they lived and farmed near York until their retirement.

Chet is survived by his brother Harold Watt of Bradshaw and his sister Blanche Watt of York; thirteen nephews and nieces. Also surviving are special friends Marty & Susan Rousseau of York. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, sisters Florence Breiner and Mildred Wiley and an infant brother. Chet was cremated and memorial services were held on Friday, January 14, 2005 at the Metz Chapel. Memorials may be directed to the Hearthstone.
