John Joseph Walker
John Joseph Walker, 59, died on December 11, 2004 after a short battle with cancer. John Joseph Walker was born on June 6, 1945 to Arch and Esther (Ellis) Walker in York, Nebraska.
John grew up in York, Nebraska. He loved his motorcycle (E.C.) and lived in many places -- making friends in all of them. He will be remembered by his easy laugh, good stories (all true), and pursuit of a good time and new friendships.
He is survived by a daughter Nicole J. Walker, Sioux Falls, SD, brother William Walker; nephew Robert W. (Diane) Davis of Yankton, SD. He will be fondly re-membered by his special friends, Rich Snider, Guy Stewart, Greg (Doc) Coffey and Wanita Koepke who provided loving support during his final days.
In addition to his parents, a sister, Marcella J. Davis Ignowski, and a nephew, Dr. William S. Davis, preceded him in death.
Johnny will be remembered by everyone who happened to cross his path. He was well liked by all and was a true friend to many. May he rest in peace.
Funeral services were Wednesday, December 15th at Metz Mortuary in York. Interment was at the Greenwood Cemetery in York, NE.
