Olga M. Vondracek
Olga M. Vondracek, 98 of York, NE, died Tuesday, July 8, 2003 in York. She was born January 29, 1905 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Frank and Anna (Horak) Pavlicek. She married Felix J. Vondracek on July 6, 1932 in Cedar Rapids. The couple lived most their life in Grand Forks, North Dakota where Felix was a professor of history at the University of North Dakota and Olga took care of the home. They retired and moved to York in 1983. Olga was a member of the East Avenue United Methodist Church in York and the Eastern Star.
Survivors include two sons, Felix (DeEtta) Vondracek of York and Paul (Michele) Vondracek of Bournonnais, Illinois; 3 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 7 step-great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband in 1984 and her sister, Rose.
Funeral services were held July 12th at the East Avenue United Methodist Church in York with the Rev. Jeff Wulf officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery at York. The family suggests memorials to the church.
