Laurie Jean Vanlaningham,

Laurie Jean Vanlaningham, age 46 of Henderson, died Saturday, November 01, 2003 at Lincoln. She was born at Aurora, NE on July 24, 1957 to Wilbur and Ramona (Dunham) Roberts. Laurie was raised in the Aurora and Phillips area and attended school in Aurora. She married Wade Lee Vanlaningham at Hastings on June 11, 1994.

Laurie is survived by her husband Wade of Henderson, 2 daughters; Rebecca Myers and Catrina (Shane) Horn, and her granddaughter Mikayla Horn all of Henderson. Also surviving are her 4 brothers; Robert (Maggie) Roberts of Grand Island, Brad (Pam) Roberts of Worms, Bryan (Dawn) Roberts of Grand Island and Tim (Brenda) Roberts of Central City; her parents Wilbur & Ramona Roberts of Grand Island and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her brother Tom O. Roberts.

Laurie has been cremated and memorial services will be held on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at the Metz Chapel in York with Phil Towle officiating. Inurnment will be at the Phillips Cemetery.
