Terry Trofholz

Terry V. Trofholz, age 54 of York, NE died Saturday, December 10, 2011 at his home. He was born on December 2, 1957 to Vernon W. and Marilyn (Jourdan) Trofholz at York. Terry graduated from York High School in 1976. On October 24, 1984 he was united in marriage to Tammy Doremus in Las Vegas, NV. Terry currently was parts manager at Scott Hourigan Co. and previously worked for Cyclonaire and Metcut. He was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in York. Terry was an avid duck hunter and fisherman. He loved attending drag races, was a natural mechanic, and enjoyed motorcycles and dirt racing.

He is survived by his wife Tammy of York; parents Vern and Marilyn Trofholz of York; sister Sally (Thurman) Hinds of Lincoln, NE; brothers-in-law Randy (Sandy) Doremus, Robbie Doremus, and Rick Doremus all of York; mother-in-law Shirley Doremus of York; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins; and his pets, Cody, Bailey, and Simon.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his father-in-law Donald, and his brother-in-law Ronald.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 AM, Wednesday December 14, 2011 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church with the Reverend Mike Neidow officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, York. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation. Visitation will be held from 5-9 Monday, 9-9 Tuesday with family greeting friends from7-8:30 Tuesday evening at the mortuary.
