Donald Trim

Donald R. Trim age 80 of Fairmont, NE formerly of Saronville, NE and Tucson, AZ died Saturday, October 25, 2008 at Fairmont. He was born September 20, 1928 at Mason City, NE to Kiah and Anna (George) Trim but was raised by his mother and step father Ivan Fansler and graduated from Bradshaw High School. Don worked construction in Nebraska and Arizona and for over 40 years was a member of Local #428 of Operating Engineers. He loved attending auctions, playing cards, traveling and vacations.

He is survived by his son Dale Dean and his wife Gwen Trim of Tucson, AZ and his daughter Diane and her husband David Hastings of Phoenix, AZ. One sister Phyllis Bell of York. Four Grandchildren and a special friend Thea Roemmich of Saronville, NE. Many nieces and nephews and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Shirley.

Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at the Plainfield Cemetery at Bradshaw, NE. Memorials may be directed to the family.
