Jerry Taylor

Jerry L. Taylor, age 61, of Bradshaw, NE, died Sunday, April 24, 2011 at York, NE. He was born November 30, 1949 in Springfield MO to Farnum and Elva (Smock) Taylor. He was a veteran having served in Viet Nam. Jerry was married to Debra A. Satchell on July 27, 2000 in Lincoln, NE. He was a construction worker in the York, Seward, and Lincoln areas. Jerry enjoyed riding his trike, gardening, horseback riding, and spending time with his grandchildren. He grew up with a strong work ethic and always liked to work.

Survivors include his wife Debra of Bradshaw; children, Dawna Lee of Lincoln, April Marie Satchell of Lincoln, Merrissa Coleman of Lincoln, Dustin W. Taylor of Lincoln, and Chea David Lee of Hampton; eleven grandchildren; two brothers, Michael Taylor of Staplehurst, NE and Bret Taylor of Stromsburg, NE; three sisters, Rosilyn Fritz of Staplehurst, Kathy Thompson of Lincoln, and Kelly Juday of Kaukauna, WI. Also surviving is his mother Elva “Jean” Algya of Seward and father Farnum Taylor of Bellevista, AR, numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Mike Algya.

Private family memorial services and inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family.
