Merlin Tannahill

Merlin C. Tannahill, age 68 of York, NE died Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at York. He was born May 4, 1940 to Paul and Velma (Andrew) Tannahill at Friend, NE. He was a member of the United States Air Force, worked for Hughes Bros. for 18 years, and most recently Chances R restaurant.

He is survived by two sons: Wayne Tannahill of York and Gordon Tannahill of Oregon, WI; three grandchildren; sisters: Kay Hilderbrand of York; Beverly (Harold) Staples of Simi Valley, CA; and Donice (Gary) Lacy of Fullerton, CA; brother George Whiteford of York; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral services for Merlin Tannahill were held at 1:30 pm, November 17, 2008 at Metz Chapel. Military Interment followed at Greenwood Cemetery, York.
