Robert Taggart

Robert “Bob” J. Taggart age 35 of Lincoln, NE died Sunday, December 25, 2011 at Lincoln. He was born April 11, 1976 at York to David R. and Judy A. (Wells) Taggart and graduated from York High School in 1994. He later obtained a degree in Agricultural Animal Husbandry from Southeast Community College at Beatrice. Bob was employed by the Seadorf Company working in the masonry field. He helped to construct the new York Middle School and worked on numerous hospitals in the Lincoln area. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his son Kadyn Taggart of Lincoln, Kadyn’s mother Cassie Taggart of Lincoln; his parents David and Judy Taggart of York; his brother Scott Taggart of Bradshaw, NE and Scott’s sons: Christian and Zachary Taggart. Also surviving are his grandfathers: Francis Wells of Carroll, IA and Billie Taggart of Manning, IA.; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, many good friends and his dog Bella. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers Phyllis Wells and Norma Taggart and his uncle Gene Reisz.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 29, 2011 at St Joseph’s Catholic Church in York with Monsignor James Reinert officiating with burial in St Joseph’s Cemetery, York. A Rosary service was held at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday evening at the mortuary. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
