Donald Suckstorf

Donald Suckstorf age 66 of York, Nebraska died Thursday, May 13, 2004 at York. He was born November 27, 1937 at Northwood, Iowa to Hans and Lillian (Kumm) Suckstorf and was a longtime employee of the State of Nebraska Department of Roads. Don was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in York, enjoyed playing pool and was an avid card player. On August 27, 1960 he was married to Wilma Eklund at Gresham, NE.

He is survived by his wife Wilma of York, two sons, Mike Suckstorf of York and Don (Sue) Hanson of Lincoln. 3 Grandchildren Also surviving are three sisters, Joyce Knudson and her husband Ron Laible of Shelby, NE., Carolina Kool also of Shelby and Mardel Neal of Osceola, NE. Many nieces and nephews.

Services were held at 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, May 18, 2004 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in York with the Rev.’s Art Brinkmeyer and Tim Marshall officiating. Burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery in York. Memorials may be directed to Emmanuel Lutheran Church or Emmanuel Lutheran School in York.
