Arlene Struble

Arlene Fay Struble, age 81 of Stromsburg, NE, formerly of Waco, NE, died Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Stromsburg. She was born February 1, 1930 to Ira and Nellie (Wiedeman) Estle at Kearney, NE. Arlene was united in marriage to Walter R. Struble in September 1956 at Plattsmouth, NE. Arlene took care of her family and also worked in retail services throughout her life, including: Hinky Dinky, Pamida, and Bag N Save. She was a member of the Lions Club, enjoyed playing cards with her friends, and cherished the time spent with her family and grandchildren.

Survivors include six children: Jodi (Floyd) Miskimins of Centerville, Iowa, Jan Rennie of Colorado Springs, CO, Larry (Teresa) Struble of Colorado Springs, Karen (Pat) Leach of Benedict, NE, Kathy Bryson of York, and Kenny (Diane) Struble of Seward, NE; 9 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 4 step great-grandchildren; sister Lila Fanberg of Big Lake, MN; and many other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, three sisters, and granddaughter Andrea Bryson.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 am, Thursday, February 10, 2011 at Metz Chapel. Burial followed in the Waco Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Midwest Covenant Home Activities Center-Stromsburg or to Donor’s Choice.
