Stacey Smith

Stacey L. Smith age 35 of York, Nebraska died Thursday, March 25, 2005 near North Platte, NE. She was born January 21, 1970 at York to Marvin and Donna (Dickes) Underwood. Stacey was formerly employed by Casey’s General Store, Kirk’s Korner and most recently at Shaffer Trucking all in York. On November 11, 1989 she was married to Ricky A. Smith in York. He passed away in 2000.

She is survived by two daughters Ashley Smith and Haleigh Smith both of York. Her mother and step-father Donna and Tom Baker of York. Three uncles Dennis and his wife Kathy Dickes of Thayer, Randy and his wife Rose Dickes and Dave Hager all of York. Three aunts Jan and her husband Ron Van Patten, Cheryl and her husband Howard Scherer both of York and Carol and her husband Robert Bryant of Yuma, AZ. Numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, father, husband, two uncles Bob Dickes and Rodney “Butch” Dickes.

Funeral services were 10:00 a.m., Monday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in York with burial in York’s Greenwood Cemetery.
