Mary M. Smith

Mary M. Smith, age 96, of Henderson, NE, died Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at Aurora, NE. She was born on September 13, 1913 at Doran, MN to Jackson and Emma (Bevy) Smith. She was a member of the Faith Evangelical Church in Henderson.

She leaves to cherish her memory, a sister Evelyn Kern of Park Rapids, MN; brother Richard (Donna) Smith of Minneapolis, MN; several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her good friend Marie Regier of Henderson with whom she shared a residence for over 60 years. She and Marie were missionaries at Colgate, OK with the Go Ye Mission for several years. They then moved to Lincoln, NE where they were employed at Back to the Bible until retirement when they moved to Henderson, NE.

Mary’s wish was to be cremated with a memorial service at a later date. Memorials may be directed to Back to the Bible in Lincoln, NE..
