Winifred Siebert

Winifred “Winnie” Siebert age 83 of Henderson, NE died Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Henderson. She was born March 22, 1927 near Henderson to Henry J. and Maria (Friesen) Siebert. Winnie worked at Grace Children’s Home and also provided child care for area children. She was a member of Faith Evangelical Bible Church in Henderson.

Left to cherish her memory are seven siblings: Tiena (Elmer) Sellers of Bedford, VA, Johnny Siebert of Omaha, NE, Mabel Eichhorn of Richfield, MN, Marion (Sherwood) Jensen of Broomfield, CO, Lillian Detweiler of Bradenton, FL, Henry (Leona) Siebert of Hesston, KS, Alan (Donna) Siebert of Arp, TX, and Dennis (Lorretta) Siebert of Sandoval, IL. Also surviving is a brother-in-law, Bill Rogers of Sebring, FL and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents and one sister Esther.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Faith Evangelical Bible Church in Henderson with the Reverend Michael Fink officiating. Burial followed at the church cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the church or the Henderson Care Center.
