Helen Siebert

Helen Siebert, age 77 of Henderson, died Saturday, July 8, 2006 at Henderson. She was born February 24, 1929 in York County, to Jacob H.E. and Marie (Thieszen) Friesen. Helen attended Pelen School in Hamilton Co. and was a graduate of Henderson High School. On March 20, 1949, she married Robert Siebert at the home of her parents. She was a lifelong member of the Bethesda Mennonite Church where she had been a member of Mission Circle and Sunday School teacher.

Helen is survived by her husband Robert of Henderson; four sons, Dale and wife Lennett of Lushton, Lester and wife Jeannie, Ronald and wife Kathleen of Henderson and Leo and wife Susan of Grafton; ten grandchildren, Clinton, James, Angie and husband Melvin, Craig and wife Krystal, Heather and husband JJ, Alex, Sasha and husband Ben, Serena, Katelyn and Sydney; eight great-grandchildren; three brothers, John E. & Nancy Friesen of Henderson, Gerald L. & Vernelle Friesen of Henderson and Elroy J. & Nancy Friesen of Grensboro, NC; and many other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death were and infant son John, infant grandson Zachary and her parents.

A graveside service was held at 10:00am Tuesday at the Bethesda Cemetery followed by memorial services at 10:30 am at the Bethesda Mennonite Church in Henderson.
