Lola Shepherd

Lola M. Shepherd age 73 of York, NE., died Saturday, November 6, 2004 at York. She was born December 14, 1930 in Denver, Co., to Cecil H. and Caroline M. (Rauwald) Cox and was a member of the League of Human Dignity. On September 5, 1950 she was married to Jack D. Shepherd in Denver, CO. She is survived by three sons, Max W. and his wife Jennifer Shepherd of York, Scott E. and his wife Debbie Shepherd of Hampton and Ross T. Shepherd of Lincoln. Three daughters Vicki L. Brownell and Penny J. Debus all of York and Ellen (Geoffrey) Dahlgren of Seward; 13 grandchildren; 1 Great granddaughter. Also surviving is a sister, Dorothy and her husband Herbert Seiger of Pikesville, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers Gerald and Robert Cox, a sister Kathleen Burch, three grandsons Daniel & Christopher Shepherd and Brian Dahlgren, and a granddaughter Shonna Brownell.

Graveside services were Thursday, November 11, 2004 at the Vernon Cemetery southeast of York. Memorials may be directed to the family in care of Scott Shepherd at 402 Thompson Ave, York, NE.
