Thelma Schultz

Thelma G. “Mimi” Schultz age 92 of York died Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at York. She was born April 17, 1914 at Central City, NE to Herbert and Grace (DeLay) Cutrell. She was a 1932 graduate of York High School was married to Roy Schultz in Papillion, NE in January of 1933. Roy and Thelma owned and operated the Cozy Lunch in York from 1937 until 1957. Roy passed away in October of 1979. Thelma also worked for many years at the F.W. Woolworth Store in York as a decorator.

Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Shirley and her husband Raymond Reetz of York, Joyce and her husband Lee Blake of Kansas City, MO, and son Robert Schultz and his wife Joan of Huntington Beach, CA. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and a brother-in-law Kenny Schultz and his wife Lois of Columbus, NE. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Mildred Erickson and special friend Clarence Nordvie.

Funeral services were held Monday, February 26, 2007 at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in York with the Reverend Mike Neidow officiating.
