Fredrick Scheele

Fredrick Herman Scheele, age 89 of Waco, NE. died Monday, October 17, 2005 at York. He was born September 17, 1916 at Waco to F. Heinrich and Marie (Reiersloh) Scheele. He farmed in the Waco area for many years and a was member of the Utica United Methodist Church. On June 22, 1946 he was married to Arlene Otto at Marysville, KS. Fredrick was a longtime seed corn salesman and served on the Utica Cemetery Board, the Utica Grange, the York County Zoning Board and was a founding member of the Utica Care Center. He is survived by his wife Arlene of Waco; son, Fred H. Scheele and his wife Kristi of Waco; daughter, Mary and her husband Hal Cummins also of Waco. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, Karla Scheele of Sidney, NE., Kevin Scheele and Kyle Scheele both of Lincoln, Kelli & Lance Cummins-Brown of Wahoo, NE., Andee & David Penn of Omaha, NE., and Shannon Cummins of Warsaw, Poland. Preceding him in death were his parents, sister, Emma Lienemann, and brother, Henry Scheele.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 20, 2005 at the United Methodist Church in Utica. Burial will be in the Utica Cemetery.
